Attendance Reminder!

If your student is going to be absent, please ensure that you call the attendance line at 703.619.3131 and select option 1 for the Class of 2022.  Ms. Ventura checks the attendance line multiple times each day to ensure that your child’s attendance is as accurate as possible.

If your student is going to arrive late or leave early – please call the attendance line and let us know.  Additionally, please have your late arriving student come directly to the sub-school upon arrival with a Doctor's note for check out.  If your student is leaving early, please send a note in with them in the morning to be dropped off at the sub-school so that we can have a check-out pass prepared prior to the dismissal time.

MVHS Campus Policy!

Mount Vernon High School is a closed campus.  This means that students are not permitted to leave the building for any reason, unless cleared by MVHS staff.  Students are not permitted to leave to get lunch, or to have lunch delivered.  Please reinforce this policy with your student so that we can ensure the safety and security of all MVHS students/staff.
