Congratulations are in order for five Mount Vernon High School students whose artwork earned recognition in the 2023 Regional Scholastic Arts Awards Program.

Each year, thousands of students from across the United States enter this competition which is one of the nation’s longest running art recognition programs available to students. The artwork was chosen for this honor by a distinguished panel of judges who selected from nearly 3500 outstanding entries. As a part of the review process, “entries are selected for awards without knowledge of the student’s gender, age, ethnicity or hometown” by prominent members of the visual and literary arts community.
