Summer Reading

MVHS Vision for Summer Reading

The purpose of summer reading is to engage learners and reinforce skills outside of the classroom.
It should also promote the joy of reading.

The summer reading project is not mandatory, but students who PARTICIPATE will be entered into a gift card raffle. Those who complete the reading BINGO will have their name entered twice.

To complete a BINGO, you must read 5 different works (or 4 works plus the free space), 1 for each category in the row, column, or diagonal line.  Be prepared to share your BINGO list with your teacher at the start of the school year.
